AG Cox Admits to Felony: Won't Resign
Its not everyday that the state's Attorney General admits
to a felony and then refuses to step-down from office. Its even
more pathetic that Cox brought his wife to the press conference
where he admits to his crime. Yeah, we're being somewhat literal
here, but as any good prosecutor can tell you adultery is still on
the books (at Michigan Compiled Laws
750.30) and its a four-year felony (MCL
777.16a).
Looks like the union of one man and one woman (Michigan Const. of 1963, art I, sec 25, formerly known as Proposal 2) has some deeper meaning for the Attorney General. Maybe someday he'll divine it to the rest of us...
UPDATE! Saturday, November 12, 2005
The Detroit Free Press reports that Attorney General Michael Cox donated $34,000 to the 2004 campaign of state Supreme Court Justice Steven Markman who was the target of a $457,164 campaign by Geoffrey Fieger to defeat him. Forget the sex, the question now becomes whether Cox has any conflict of interest in investigating Fieger.
Michigan Caucus loves hypocrites.

Chief Justice Clifford W. Taylor,Justice Robert P. Young, Jr.,Justice Stephen J. Markman, and Justice Maura D. Corrigan all decided to attack Marijuana users with their idiotic 11-carboxy-THC ruling. Just another hypocritical law that they can use to dig into peaceful taxpayers pockets. All of these hypocrits should top the list. Give them all a breathalyzer, and prosecute to the limit.

Why should anyone in Michigan be surprised at Washington Republicans covering up for depraved Republican sex predators like Mark Foley?
Michigans Attorney General, Mike Cox, and his Oakland County cronies have been doing it for years in Troy School District.
For years TSD has been able to conceal the hiring, keeping-on and ocver-ups for dangerous employees guilty of CSC. Cox, Bouchard and Gorcyca all know it.
