Brewer Threatened with Arrest

Dick Devos spokes­man, John Trus­­cott, calls the po­lice to re­move Mark Brew­er from the side­walk in front of the Lan­sing De­­Vos Head­­quar­ters while the lat­er was set­ting up for a press con­­fer­­ence.

Ap­par­ent­ly, even the sidewalk in front of the DeVos HQ is on pri­vate property. According to press reports, Brewer and Trus­cott got into a shout­ing match just before the police arrived to tell Brewer that the he had to leave and they'd arrest Brewer if he returned. Brewer leaves.

Damn it, Brewer. Has that Harvard education gone to your head? The GOP hands you an opportunity to show the state what kind of tin ear they have for the First Amendment and you decline to take it.
