Quilts and Human Rights - Ugly Quilts
Part of the year long focus on human rights and social
injustice-related issues includes lectures, workshops, films and
artist demonstrations will be scheduled from January 15 to August
24, 2008. Workshop to make 'Ugly Quilts" is for the homeless.
Explore the role that quiltmakers have played in raising awareness
of human rights issues around the world and the power of textiles
